The ceramic work by artist Luis Leonardo represents the façade of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Cola in Ourique. Built over an ancient hermitage, the Sanctuary is around 300 years old and is a place of congregation for devote pilgrims coming from other regions like Alentejo and Algarve every year for celebrations on September 7-8.
